Cancellation policy
We kindly request that you notify us in writing of any significant changes to your reservation as early as possible. If the reservation is cancelled in whole or in part for reasons beyond our control, the following cancellation fees will apply:

Up to 14 days before your arrival, a cancellation of your reservation is possible free of charge.

13 to 3 days before your arrival: 50% of the total amount.

3 to 0 days before your arrival: 100% of the total amount.

Child discount
Children up to 3 years in their parents' room in a baby cot, sleep and have breakfast at no extra charge. We charge a one-off fee of CHF 40.00 for the provision of a baby cot.
Children in the Stobete suite from 3 to 10 years in a sofa bed pay a surcharge of CHF 40.00 per night including breakfast buffet.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome at Gästehaus Bären on request for a surcharge of CHF 20.00 per night including dog bed.
Check in
The room is available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival.
Check out
The room is available to you until 10.30 a.m. on the day of departure.
Means of payment
We accept cash payments in CHF as well as Maestro, Matercard and Visa.

Lunch package
We will be happy to prepare a packed lunch for you for CHF 12.00. It includes a sandwich, a piece of fruit, something sweet and a drink.
Eastern Switzerland Holiday Card
For stays of two nights or more, you can purchase the Eastern Switzerland Holiday Card (OSKAR) with numerous free services and free travel on the Ostwind fare network at a price of CHF 17.00 per person per day. This also includes all the major aerial cableways in the Alpstein, i.e. Kronberg, Hoher Kasten, Ebenalp with Äscher-Wildkirchli and Säntis.
