Ever heard of Blochmontag?

The locals are still recovering from the Sylvesterchlause as the Fasnacht is already at the doorstep. Every year on the actual ‘Blochmontag’, the boys of Hundwil, Stein and Schwellbrunn haul their grand tree-trunk through the villages. This so called ‘Bloch’ makes a considerable distance that day and is auctioned in the village after returning in the evening.
