South Africa meets Appenzell: 2. Wine & Dine with South African wine

During my two trips to South Africa (January 2012 and January 2014), I got to know the wine region around Cape Town and fell in love with it. A new world has opened up to me. That’s where I met Bernhard Hess of the Mimosa Lodge in Montagu.
Bernhard is a South African with Swiss roots, his father Sepp grew up in Engelberg. He runs his Lodge since several years with a lot of success. In South Africa, he is known as one of the best chefs and enjoys a high reputation far beyond the cape area. But beside of the work in his lodge, he also finds time to produce his own wines, which he would like to present to us in the Marktplatz for an exclusive Wine & Dine.
This is why we invite all our friends and fans of South Africa to a delightful evening with wonderful food combined with wine from South Africa.
We are supported by Cindy and Peter Ehrbar, Urnäsch. Cindy has worked at the Mimosa Lodge.
